Grandma's 92nd Birthday

January 28th was Mom's birthday and she had a huge surprise!  My sister Janis flew in from Moncton for a long weekend.  The flight was delayed due to storms on the eastern seaboard however she made it safe and sound.

Bob and I hosted a tiny dinner with my brother Wayne, his wife Ev, Janis and her daughter Tara and son in law Tom.  Mom enjoyed the Indian meal we served at Christmas and so we served another Indian dinner.
There were several parties; one at Valley Vista (Mom's retirement residence), New Hope United Church, many bouquets of flowers, gifts, visitors, phone calls and a landslide of cards.  We are grateful and blessed to have her with us.
